On Saturday 11th November 2017, three members of the South East Essex Green Party Committee attended the Eastern Region Green Party AGM in Witham, Essex. Vida, Clare, and James took part in the well-attended event and were part of the wider discussion of Green Party business for the Eastern Region.

The Southend and Westcliff Hebrew Congregation have submitted a planning application for an Eruv across a large area of Southend. While we recognise the potential positive attributes the Eruv garners our local Jewish community in way of access and mobility, we cannot support it.

Recently the SEEGP were asked to comment on the recently released Southend Airport Expansion plans; in which, plans are to extend the Airport buildings and increase overall capacity. We oppose any further expansion of Southend Airport, and we are in opposition to these proposed increase in capacity.
