It is with great sadness that today we today share the news of the passing of Green Party Councillor Diane Hoy.
Diane was a pivotal part of her community in Hullbridge, and she was a beloved mother, wife, and friend. She lost her final battle with Breast Cancer on Friday, September 11th surrounded by loved ones.
She served Hullbridge for over a decade as a committed and passionate Green Party councillor, and she was a friend to everyone.
SEEGP Coordinator James Vessey-Miller said;
“I’m really upset to today learn the news of the sad passing of our friend Diane Hoy. A tremendous loss to Hullbridge, and even sadder to lose not only one of the Green Party’s best people but also a good friend. She will be sadly missed.”
Johnathan Fuller, Coordinator of the S.E.Essex FoE Group added;
“I am so desperately sorry to read this. She was so determined in her service to the community and will be greatly missed by all. And I am terribly sorry for Michael and her family. She was so young – it is very shocking.”
She will be sadly missed, and our condolences, love, and support go to her husband Michael, the family, and all who knew Diane.
