Simon Cross is the Green Party candidate for Rochford & Southend East in the 2017 General Election.
Simon originally comes from Sheffield where he was an active Green campaigner for many years. Simon has also worked with neighbourhood and community schemes including a three year spell with ‘Side by Side’ - a group supporting refugees and asylum seekers.
Moving to Southend 7 years ago, Simon joined the Green group locally and has, once again, been a very active member including standing for Local Council in the Kursaal ward three times.
Simon is campaigning strongly in the areas of the NHS, young people and education, poverty and homelessness. The Green Party candidate for Rochford and Southend East is looking to continue the fight for a fairer and equal society.
